Re: Garmin-Asus nüvifone A10 launched

Hi guys,

A quick question here. Any idea if it's possible to update the map with JV from Garmin Singapore on this A10?

I'm currently doing this with my 255W, but then I can't find the link for A10 on the website.

Or is it possible to transfer the JV files from my 255W to A10?

Thanks

You can store in either Main Memory or SD card.

The recommendation is to do it in SD card as any corruption of map data in SD card is easily corrected by removing the card
thanks. but as reported above, the installation will ask for an external card. can i proceed without it?

just to confirm, does it means that i must have a SD card to install the Malsingmaps Malaysia/Singapore/Brunei NT2010.40 (2010-Q4) map?

can't use the internal memory?

Re: The Nuvi 1350 SG/MY

Bro Bartmp8 advice is valid. the data file ( My Favorites ) in your 205W is located in the Garmin/GPX/current.gpx directory. Transfer this file to your 1350 GPX directory. Rename the default current.gpx file in the 1350 to any other file name ie... temp.gpx and then copy the current.gpx file of the...

Re: Loading MSM into NUVI Part 5

I see. Means that the v5.05 map will have LA but no JV right? I was refering to this link and found that the v5.xx got JV?? Maybe I got it wrong? Re: Loading MSM into NUVI Part 5

Hi miezarnd, Thanks for your quick reply. Does it means that if I want to use the JV function, I must select only the 'Malsingmaps Malaysia/Singapore/Brunei NT2010.40' map and uncheck all the other maps? Or in another word, if i want to use the latest map (v5.05), I will have to forget about the JV ...
