As for the voice recognition part, I guess there's nothing much we can do there. Maybe because the road name in our region is not English enough. :lol: You go and try out the TTS function. Discovered that voice recognition is not available for addresses. It points you back to the touch screen. You need to plan your destinations and put them into your Favourites......very restrictive! Also discovered that the American English selection is more forgiving when it comes to our local accen...

Sorry. My first attempt to guide someone with nuvi 8XX series. :oops: nuvi 8XX series is a bit different from the others. It's running on Linux instead of normal GUI. Do you have a microSD card with you? Can try copy the last "gmapsupp.img" which you got after running the DOS command into the Garmi...

Followed the instructions
Refreshed the unlock code through DOS command and the file was automatically renamed "gmapsupp.img" Copied into "Garmin" folder rebooted but still "Cannot unlock map" pops up?
