Any1 can help me how to use mapsource, i've tried many times to send data from mapsource to GPSmap 76SCx. I want to send road into my gps device but unsuccessful. hi again..i have downloaded version msm-all411.zip to my laptop and saved it in my documents(not sure if thats ok)!! when i try to open it i have a warning telling me that it is not a valid mapsource file.i just dont know what i'm doing wrong.i have tried many times but i'm getting nowhere fast :-' ...

o.k......i think i might be getting somewhere!
i have just downloaded the map titled...msm-all-v411.is this now the correct map?if so i will need to put it into mapsource right?whats the best way to do this?...again i'm really sorry for these questions :tq:

hello again....right,i have looked at what i downloaded and the file say's gmapsupportnt-2010-20 is this the correct file or have i got the wrong one and shouldi have i download a different one?please forgive these mundane questions,but i really am a technophobe but trying hard to learn :wink: regar...

hi..i downloaded the msm malaysia map but i cant seem to open it or send it to mapsource.i have just recieved my new etrex vista hcx so all this is very new to me,the maps seem to have downloaded on to my laptop(window's xp),but i cant view then on my computer or in mapsource :( ...any suggestions o...

zip files

hi all

i have posted various topics where i have stated that i'm not very computer savvy :(
another question i have is regarding zip files.i have downloaded 7zip and was wondereing wether this was sufficient for unzipping msm files?
any help gratefully recieved
