Usually check the route for traffic with Google maps but I prefer the Garmin UI, find it clearer and JCV and lane assist are better.

http://rotweilermaps.com/maps.cfm Rotweiler used to produce maps but I see that his website is not active. You might be able to find his map by a web search.

Google location service runs in the background if you don't 'opt out'. Google has you tracked everywhere!

So what i need to do is update the software to the latest version and i can go all over the world but all i have to worry about is where to get the map. Right? is my understanding correct?
