bro dvpro, ok all well, managed to unzip the update.exe file with another software. and got things sort out... smile again... but headache after discovered that the clock is incorrect, it's 8.0O, even by going to the clock function to change to Hong Kong time, it's still the same... did anyone encou...

need your pointers again,

unable to upload the patch file thru' updater.exe
this msg kept appearing
"no update files could be found
please re-run updater from command line and
specify the directory containing the update files
as a command-line parameter"

Your Nuvi's HWID is 0737 (US firmware), so Webupdater should have no problem updating it to the latest firmware available. Ok many thanks again, i wish to download the sw version 3.4, so as to use the tracking log, but tried many times to run the 200_3.4.exe, still can't get it down.... need pointe...

Bro mhs1864, first check your Nuvi's HWID at Nuvi:\Garmin\ GarminDevice.xml so that you can determine the correct updater to be used. You can open the file with Notepad or an internet browser and then look for the string like this within the first few lines: <PartNumber> xxx-xxxxx-xx </PartNumber> ...

Please follow the instructions on how to update your device carefully from the website where you download that file. SOS help needed from the gurus.... I had download software version 3.40.exe file to my nuvi 200w internal memory, however when i checked the settings, it's still version 3.30.... What went wrong? I had been reading from this forum until :ko: still can't figure out... paiseh... me abit IT idiot. hop...
