Re: 60CSx Powering Off Beeping

Did you check if your latest tracks were recorded to the microSD card? Before replacing the card, I suggest you try to reformat it first. Make sure you backup the data in the card before you reformat. Good luck. PS Trying to help you save RM10 for a new 1GB mem card  Last few times it happ...

Re: 60CSx Powering Off Beeping

Re: 60CSx Powering Off Beeping

Hey I think I found out the problem with the incessant beeping when the device is turned off... Seems to be due to the amount of data/files accumulated in the MicroSD i.e. the number of .gpx files over time. I cleared out some of the older files and so far so good! Unit shuts down properly now. Just...

Re: 60CSx Powering Off Beeping

have u try muting all the tones ? main menu>setup>tones>power beep(off) or/n mute(check) n do power on off test :D Yes that will work to get rid of the tone but the unit is still in a powered-up state until the batteries are removed. This would mean it'll drain the batts not to mention that I can't...

Currently am on GP Recycko NiMH batteries. Switched to GP Alkalines (which I've previously used w/o probs) and same thing still happens.

60CSx Powering Off Beeping

Hi all. Appreciate if anyone knows whats happening or has the solution. I am currently facing this problem: When I power-off my 60CSx, the display goes off but instead of a beep then complete powerdown, it goes into a continuous beep. Re: Can GPSr lock on satellites while in aeroplane in flight?

These "tools" are not allowed on hand-carry luggage anymore after 7-11). Bro, i think you meant 9-11? :-k Since a GPSr is not a transmitting device (unless it is one of those Nuvi models with FM transmitter :-' ) I don't see how it is not permitted compared to the digital camera. There are even som...

Re: Can GPSr lock on satellites while in aeroplane in flight?

I have had mixed experiences on diff flights, airlines. MAS KL-Hong Kong tracked all the way. Upon return the signal was lost 15 mins from Hong Kong. B-777 at window seat on both occasions. Uzbek airlines from KL-Tashkent-Simferopol, tracked all the way without any signal loss. Window seat/ 2nd from...
