Yes, a Topography map isn't everyone's cup of tea. I want to trek up the Bekelah Waterfall which is rumoured to have 7 levels to reach 7th Heaven. Revival on TOPO. recently purchased the 62S and eager to run on topo. I have downloaed the topo map from http://masmap.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f ... p=954#p954. I can view the topo in gpsmapedit but not in mapsource. Uploading the topo map to the 62s is no issue, although I used img2gps. When i comb...

A few observations:

1. 205W is quite fast to lock onto satellites.

2. No POI's are displayed. Aiyoih a little disappointing. Anyway, do I need to downgrade the firmware? I believe this is a problem with all Nuvi.

3. I just found out today there is no socket for external antenna!!!!
