Re: [New Product] Nuvi 2575R & Nuvi 2565

Ehh.... this is for the 2565 I just got over the weekend I realised that it doesn't even need to be named as gmapsupp.img anymore. (not like the old nuvi I had) I just name the map as it is.... eg. Thailand.img, jerome.img, etc and it works. Didn't hve a 16GB card so plugged in a 32GB. Not sure if t...

Re: [New Product] Nuvi 2575R & Nuvi 2565

Thanks all for the feedback. So it's 16Gb card then..... with the ability of having unlimited maps, as long as memory size can cater, it'll save me heaps of effort to merge maps and such.....ah... technology.

Just worried about the unit serial number thinggy with some of my existing maps (not local or malaysia)... might need...

Re: [New Product] Nuvi 2575R & Nuvi 2565

Hi All, Guess it's time for me to upgrade my GPS. Mine's an aging 200W that is like errr.... 7 years old and dying on me..... Anyway, I was thinking of the 2565LM and was hoping that some owners and gurus here can shed some light on it (I've completely lost touch on fiddling with the GPS). Sorry for...

Re: Driving to Mersing - Tioman from SG

There's a barrier protected parking just next to the ferry terminal. This is parking on grass patch. Be careful not to park underneath the coconut or even other trees. You don't want the fruit or branches to fall onto your car and cause a dent. Then there's also a small private parking just opposite...

KL during Raya weekend

Hi All, I plan on driving upto KL during this coming Raya weekend. Appreciate some advise. 1. Would there be massive jams going into KL on Saturday morning? 2. Would the shops be open or would the majority be closed? 3. If I were to leave on Monday (public holiday), would KL & the NS Highway (South ...
