i just bought my 205W from US. It says SW ver 2.60, nuvi 205W S V6 2GB. I have heard alot of pros and cons about upgrading SW. Some ppl say don't upgrade, else will lose some useful feature like showing POI on navigating mode, etc. Or some ppl facing problem after upgrading but unfortunately cannot...

Yup, this works for my 255W, just that there is no need to go to another menu after pressing the battery icon for a few seconds. The first screen will show the amount of battery left. There is no need to plug in the USB cable.

Funny.. but i have been checking mine and it does not come anywhere near 5 meters. The nearest I got today at 9 meters on a clear day , not moving. After about like 10 mins the range is between 10 and 14 meters. Do you think there's something wrong with the unit ? I was driving just now and the GPS...

I just recently purchased a nuvi 205w after being racuned by my good ol singaporean uni mate. I got the Malsing version. Just wondering, is there a way for me to 'add' additional voice/language as currently mine is American English. My friend who uses the American 205w has the option to have Britis...

I encountered the problem of the TC crashing because of a version of malsingmaps that I used. I removed the malsingmap and it worked. A few months later, malsingmap did indeed work inside TC, but I forgot the reason for it. So maybe if you are using msm with TC, delete the map and see what happens.

It's quite fantastic, and yes, it automatically download your running route and puts it into Training Centre.
