Re: How good is HTC TyTN 2?

GPSproxy for tracking is this mean u r using Que? GPSproxy can be used to create tracklogs without Garmin Que or other GPS program. With some difficulty and mortscripting, I understand some users had made Que and MXT co-exist in one PPC. Chipun, sabre23t is correct. I'm using MXT + bluetooth + 10X ...

Re: How good is HTC TyTN 2?

Just want to add, Besides 838 pro, I used to own a Nokia N73 too for navigation with my 10X. The N73 is not without it's own problem. Sometimes I'm not able to run MXT cos of 'not enough memory'. Have to power off & on to work. Manually closing programs running in the background does'nt work (e.g co...

Re: Cant enable buit-in gps on N95

If you are not aware, the freely downloaded GarminMobileXT do not work 'out of the box' with N95's built-in GPS.
It only works direct with Garmin's GPS e.g. 10X.

If you want it to work with your N95 built-in GPS, you have to buy GarminMobileXT software in SD/memory card format.

Re: How good is HTC TyTN 2?

I think system wise, the plus point is the 128Mb RAM. I'm a ex 838 pro user too. i find myself not having to perform soft reset as often. The only gross i have for TyTN II over the 838 pro is : 1. Power button flushed with the PDA body, got problem pressing the button to turn on the screen. 2. Harwa...

Re: how to backup MobileXT Data?

Using PocketPC? If you only want to backup your "My Locations", can backup "GARMIN_WPT.nvm" located in your device's memory.
This method does not work with MobileXT Symbian S60 version.

Re: Multiple Mapsets unable to perform accurate spell search?

Re: Multiple Mapsets unable to perform accurate spell search?

Hi,
You don't have to patch the 3 maps together, you can have the 3 maps represent as 3 separate img files in your device, just rename them differently :
Gmapsupp.img - map#1.
Gmapsup2.img - map#2.
Gmapprom.img - map#3.
