CNY 2016 Map Issues

Hi, I just want to highlight some issue I encountered in the CNY 2016 map. I updated my map to the latest CNY 2016 map but I realised I cannot find certain road names when I did address search in Malaysia. For example, I was looking for a road near where my customer place near a road named Laluan Pe...

Re: The Nuvi 205W

You can go look for anti-glare films and paste on 205W. Alternatively, you can go for a cheaper option... Build a shelter to block from direct sun ray using cardboard...  I have placed my 205W at a place where there won't have any glare problems. I placed it on the top right hand...

Re: The Nuvi 205W

You might also want to consider the 205 instead of the 205W. From my understanding from 200/200W, and unless Garmin has changed for the 2x5 series, the W version does not display more road. It just stretches the view sideways. W version also does not have anti-glare function which the non-W version...

Re: The Nuvi 205W

I find comparison between Nuvi 250W with Nuvi 205W not very appropriate. You are not comparing the same thing. If I am not wrong, Nuvi 205W replaces Nuvi 200W, while Nuvi 255W replaces Nuvi 250W. Except for included maps, 200W is the same as 250W, and 205W should be the same as 255W. So, the compar...

Re: The Nuvi 205W

In this case, i would get the 205W. Nope, only in the USA In Singapore, for jams avoidance, you have to rely on our superduper EMAS, or the radios. There is a feature in the both the Nuvi 200W, and 205W, that you can configure to avoid "TOLLS (ERP), U-Turns...etc". Firstly, the ERP POIs m...

Re: The Nuvi 205W

Hardware wise, 250W is exactly the same as 200W. The difference is the regional maps. Some features such as the FM traffic compatible is totally useless unless you are in USA. One major advantage that the 205W has over the 200W is that it has "hotfix" which enable it for faster acquisition upon boo...

Re: The Nuvi 205W

Bro, I'm considering between the Garmin Nuvi 205W and the 250W to replace my WM Pocket PC GPS unit. I understand that the main differences between the two are: 205W Weight - 147.42 g (Lighter) Batt Life - 4hrs (Shorter Batt Life) Waypoints - 1000 FM traffic compatible - Yes Where Am I? - Yes Photo n...
