Re: any map for krabi thailand

A much older version of South Thailand - including Krabi - was posted on this site. The current maps (all routable and fully indexed) are available at rotweilermaps.com (shameless plug....) They ARE good though... VERY (if I have to say so myself). One useful clarification - PLEASE remember that the...

Just a clarification.... the Rotweiler Thailand maps DO inter-connect perfectly to the MalSing maps - starting with the Jan 2 008 MalSing maps, and with the same date for Rotweiler's Thailand. That's an advantage of submitted routes and POI's to two non-competing organizations! Older maps of mine - ...

Re: what is Gmapsupp.sum ?

GMAPSUPP.SUM is a "checksum" file created by the map installer software in your Garmin devise during the mapset's creation. It is not required by the system afterwards.

Re: China Cities Map

I think it is inappropriate for this site - dedicated to map-making, not hacking - to foster discussions of "sharing". This and other threads posted recently seem to be out-of-bounds for MalSing.

The passing of a dear friend and comrade..... Rickvon

It is my sad duty to report that a long-standing member of the GPS community and a dear friend, Rickie Von, was killed in a Motor Vehicle Accident on Sunday in Thailand. Rickie will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched. On behalf of this community as well, I extend our sincere condolences ...

Re: Routable Cambodia map.....

To whom this may concern. No more unlocks for Cambodia for awhile. Relocating for the winter so offline for awhile. I would also like to remind people that unlocks should be requested only by active Malsing members - not by 0-posters or non-contributors. I believe that to be fair. Interesting that 7...
