Re: sony ericsson p1i

Your Holux and SE P1I should be able to pair if they both have Bluetooth enabled.

However, you cannot use the Holux with the Garmin Mobile XT software as it requires a Garmin bluetooth GPS such as the Garmin Mobile 10X.

Re: smartcomgps

Nope, SmartComGPS cannot use MalSingMaps .... it uses maps based on a format compatible with Oziexplorer. You will need to convert Malsingmaps maps to this particular format before using it with SmartcomGPS ... :)

Re: Have you heard about the Built-in GPS laptop?

I guess with GPS chipsets getting smaller and smaller, it is quite feasible to incorporate such functionalities into laptops. We are seeing them in phones now anyway.

Re: What is the suitable GPS software for N80?

Your N80 is based on the Symbian S60v3 platform. You have 2 choices which I know of :- 1) Garmin Mobile XT (http://www.garmin.com/software/GarminMobileXTforSymbianS60_41020.exe) 2) SmartCOMGPS (http://www.wild-mobile.com/files/download/smartcomgps-1.5-s60v3.zip) Of these 2, only the former can use M...

Re: Best way to mount external antenna??

I then routed the MCX cable into the rubber seal at the top of the bonnet, through the gap between the car body and the door, and then finally reaching the dashboard. The antenna I bou...

Re: Malsingmaps Wiki

For major changes to that article, I suggest you create General_Reference_New in accordance to what you believe is the best organisation. When that General_Reference_New is agreed to be better than existing General_Reference, we can move the latter to General_Reference_Old and move the former to Ge...

Re: Malsingmaps Wiki

There are too many duplicate pages, and too much similar information duplicated on different pages. It's a 3 step process, consisting of a. Identifying and weeding out pages with similar information. eg. http://www.malsingmaps.com/wiki/index.php/POIs and http://www.malsingmaps.com/wiki/index.php/POI...

Re: Malsingmaps Wiki

I am currently trying to reorganise the Wiki into more logical sections. It's really messy and it will take some time doing so. Meanwhile, I apologise if I offend anyone by moving their page(s) to another location(s). :)
