Re: The Nuvi 755T

I am sure in near future, we are able to download the updated map when is ready. Will the map your team working...

If I get a Garmin (preloaded with US maps, obviously) how could I make sure it is not corrupted / replaced by the Malsingmaps? Thanks in advance for any adv...

Re: The Nuvi 755T

Lane Assist will be implemented for testing in Klang Valley area in the next map release. There have been some talk some firmwares of the Nuvi 205 supports Lane Assist too. Rumours though. Is junction veiw and lane assist the same term? We normally call this lane assist in USA and is a nice feature...

Re: The Nuvi 755T

Preloaded maps are usually labelled as gmaprom.img but if it is gmapsupp.img then backup if you want to install it in main memory. Suggestion is to do it in SD/garmin. Download our latest NT compiled map from here : http://www.malsingmaps.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=16332 Thank you. Well done t...

Re: Newbie asking for assistance

Since I can't contribute to any POI, I only able to download the older version. First, you must have a Garmin unit and also a SD card where you download the Mal-Sing map. You would not loose your US map as Garmin has a way to identify which map to use when the satelite trace your location.

Re: Nuvi 765T

Hmmm ... I haven't even encountered a Junction View pop-up when I drove around in the US! :-k Seems like they are very rare. :-? Locally, it would be very useful in places like M'sia particularly around KL where the turnings are a little complicated (at least to me!) I am using the Garmin 755T in U...

Re: The Nuvi 755T

Thanks for getting the term right. If you read those reviews, Garmin is not one of the company which roll out all those new innovation in GPS. Is a pure solid system which bring you from point A to point B. When I have the unit, I do have some dissapoitment even this unit suppose to be one of the pr...

Re: The Nuvi 755T

Agreed with tks. You should lose the signal when you enter a tunnel unless is a very shot distance. Even my TomTom lost the signal but the projection program calculate your last car speed and using those info to project the icon in the GPS map. This also happen very often in area where you have many...
