Re: Nuvi 200 new firmware ver 3.6

I guess it's safe to say that once the firmware is updated from v3.4 onwards, even reverting it back, you will not be able to recover the "tracking feature" anymore.. :( sad case

Re: Nuvi 200 new firmware ver 3.6

Thanks bro chuah

How come sabelt not able to see the POI even in 3.6? Are there differences due to the GPS SW version?
By the way, if I update the Nuvi firmware via the Garmin website, it will automatically update the GPS SW version as well?

Is that true? You mean you can see POIs during navigation/routing? Can you show an example of screen capture?

You can not create .gpi file using mapsource. You need gpsbabel.Sorry can't remember the link (can so...

You also have the option to transfer the POI to Mapsource. Just click the receive from device button. All you POI will then import...

Re: myNuvi 200

One question..

If I save my own POI using the Nuvi 200, am I able to search it using the POI search function?
I tried but not successful. Just to check if it is possible. If not, what are the alternatives?
Thanks.
