Re: Mort Script to activate bluetooth and Mobile XT

Thanks but don't think it will work as x50v is VGA (640x480) screen and the pixel location will be different vs QVGA (320x240) or lower resolution.

Will need something that return location on the PDA itself.

Re: Radiating antenna in VCool car

Actually I don't mind DIY, just that it will look ugly unless I can find a decent looking transmitting antenna instead of a cloth hanger ](*,)
Also without proper PCB and shielding, not too sure it's worth DIY.
Anyone want to work as a group project? Need some electronic expert.

Re: Radiating antenna in VCool car

Any idea where I can get the re-radiating Antenna in Singapore? 10x is very slow in getting 3d lock in, may want to see if a re-radiating will help. Even in Malaysia if I can get it from there as drive in quite often. Saw some oversea site selling re-radiating with 12v powered directly using car soc...

Re: GPRS - not working after GPSProxy + Garmin Que installation

I still think there is a COM port conflict that cause the GPRS failed. You may want to follow the steps closely documented at: PocketPC Setup Guide I still don't feel comfortable with the COM0 setting you had, blank it off. Also during paring of BT GPS, did you assign a serial out port? This is bein...

Re: Do you hide your Nuvi or PDA in the car?

Yeah, till GPS become a commodity goods and get so common like mobile phone, you will see your windows smashed and your dear GPS being sold in second hand shop.

At the moment may still be safe as there isn't any second hand shop selling GPS.

Do you hide your Nuvi or PDA in the car?

Just wonder how many of you expose your Nuvi or PDA in the car when not driving? Always find it troublesome when I need to re-mount whenever I need to navigate. But at the same time worry that some desperate GPS seeker will smash my windscreen. Currently covering it with a baseball cap but sti...
