Re: In-Car Voltage Inverter

Saw this at Autobacs, the "Can" type, cheapest one selling around S$59, higher end with USB port selling S$79-89. Just wonder will this thing add "bad load" to my already heavy setup with at least 3-4 equipments draining my battery. Used to change battery every 12 months, with this I think every 6 m...

Re: Garmin GVN 52

I think I'm just too sleepy due to late night.

Silly me, GVN-52/53 uses RF for the remote control.

Re: Another Kuantan/Trengganu holiday with pics.

Re: Garmin GVN 52

Most car HU with 6.5" or 7" LCD display should be able to support it. I have tested my JVC KW-AVX800 and it works fine. My main problem is currently I already have a DVB-T box connected (for watching TV in car) which has a Infrared receiver for remote control, with GVN-53, I'll have to place another...

Re: Garmin new Nuvi 700

Dear Bro Lost4ever, Bro Kiteman, Discovered that the MXT is only suitable for navigation as it will not allow 1sec tracks (ref. Bro Jaguar). It just says "most often". I feel maybe the Nuvi 700 series will also be similar to appeal to the "masses" rather than the addict. Most people will use the "t...

Re: Garmin new Nuvi 700

For tracking, nothing beats GPSProxy. I have compared the track log between GPSProxy and GMXT.
