Re: Garmin Vista HCX

Hey you guys out there, any one having problem with the "rubber" protector on your etrex?? Mine's getting very loose lately and looks like its coming off. When you touch the underside, the glue is all sticky and messy. Any solutions anyone?? Maybe mine is still new, but I noticed tympg's unit is co...

Re: Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian 4.10.80 here

here is the track for sporttraker and m241 taken together, any comment. Looks like 1 sec tracks from the NST to me. Did you convert your NST tracks with gpsbabel? I did, and the leg time is also showing in my track properties, not sure why yours is not. :-k I guess the speed also plays an important...

Re: Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian 4.10.80 here

which tracking result is more accurate, Nokia Sport Tracker or Holux M1200 ? Are you referring to the accuracy between the internal gpsr with Nokia Sports Tracker and Holux m1200 with Nokia Sports Tracker? Guess it would be tough for Moey unless he has two nokia phones side by side during the track...

If in doubt, check on the Garmin website for their GMXT compatibility with phone brand and model.

Re: Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian 4.10.80 here

Heh libra, don't mean to butt in, but I just need to point out something about this active re-radiating antenna....

Re: STOP take a minute and think about it

I am here because it's fun and I treat it as a hobby. I am getting something out of this community and at the same time, I am giving back to help update the map. That works for me. I believe not all vendors are 'selling' the latest map, the one that I brought from gave me the free v2.15. A...

Re: P1i problem reading Mal-Sin Map with Garmin Mobile XT

You should be able to do a search without a gpsr as the data is in your mobile. Since you are using the v2.15, you can only search using POI and not the address search which is only available for v2.27. Re: Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian 4.10.80 here

The N95 has a built in GPS and I suspect Nokia Sport Tracker is defaulting to its internal GPS instead of ...
