Any discount at Dalit Bay Golf Club, KK?

My group of 8 golfers is planning to golf at Dalit Bay, Kota Kinabalu (Shangri-la Rasa Ria) and has been quoted RM360 per pax (green fees, buggy and insurance). This happens to be their published rate and I have been told there is no discount package. This is odd as most courses seldom charge at ful...

Re: help with garmin gmxt

Not sure whether this will solve your problem - try it.

Go to Settings/System/Remote GPS. Select GPS Intermediate Driver.

Re: How to purchase Garmin XT for chinese GPS

The original GMXT data card is only with original Garmin maps, either USA, Europe, etc. There's no option to purchase without maps.

The 2nd option as listed in your posting is to install a free copy of GMXT into a smart phone and then using BT, pair it with an external GPSr, viz the 10X from Garmin.

Re: help with garmin gmxt

SoSweet,

My wife's Omnia 2 also takes quite a long time to lock into the sats. Not a very good phone lah - awesome hardware but unfortunately awful software. But her earlier Nokia E66 was very fast.

Re: help with garmin gmxt

The first initial sat lock will take a few mins but subsequent locks should take less than a minute - particularly if you have AGPS on. If the problem happens when in your car, then it is most likely due to the solarfilm that is blocking off the signals.

Re: garmin mobile xt for north america?

Garmin has a detailed N.America that is larger than 1GB. Easiest is to buy a Garmin GMXT card with the N.America preloaded.

Re: Newbie on HTC HD

HTC will be releasing WM6.5 ROMS soon (most probably this week), but only for the Diamond 2, and Pro 2. The only way to get WM6.5 into the HD is to flash with the many (and excellent) cooked ROMs that are available at XDA-Developers. However do follow the instructions strictly when you do the flash;...
