Re: F1 2009 Season Discussion Thread

Hmmm... Schumy racing for Ferrari again to fill in for Massa's absence. Will be a thrill for his diehard fans. But having been in retirement for more than 2 years, he will be rusty; he's probably not hungry too. Would be interesting to watch.

Re: F1 2009 Season Discussion Thread

Its amazing how fast things can change around - Brawn has lost its aerodynamics advantage and is now struggling to earn a point. It is good to see McLaren and Ferrari back in the podium. Really bad luck for Alonso - what a dramatic loss of a front tyre! Lets pray for Massa's fast recovery from his h...

Re: F1 2009 Season Discussion Thread

Yes, no question I'm already a senior citizen, but don't get me wrong, I'm not a reckless driver; also my guts getting smaller with age! But it is such a thrill to have the extra ooommph in your car, and to be able to run away from speeding buses that are tailgating you at 120 kph along the NSH! Ser...

Re: F1 2009 Season Discussion Thread

Totally agree with you - all boils down to the car! It also shows that having a good engine is not enough, chassis and aerodynamics design are critically important (particularly at the high speeds that these F1 cars are capable of). This is clearly demonstrated by the front runners this season - Bra...

Re: F1 2009 Season Discussion Thread

The last 2 races - Silverstone and Nuburing - have clearly demonstrated a change in dominance, from Brawn to Red Bull. Fantastic win for Webber - despite a drive-thru penalty. Its good to see the change in podium finishes; for a while I was afraid that Button would be crowned Champion before the rac...

Re: HTC touch HD

You have to download and store into your PC 3 program files from Garmin. They are free for download at Garmin's site: http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-11034-00 You need to firstly download GMXT Version 5.0020W for Windows Mobile. After that download the other 2 program files...

Re: F1 2009 Season Discussion Thread

Yes, a big mistake by Honda when their bean counters pulled the plug on F1 participation. If they had faith in what Ross was doing, they (Honda) would be all smiles today. When Ross came to Honda, he knew he could not do much with the 2008 car; so he concentrated in designing/developing the 2009 mod...

Re: F1 2009 Season Discussion Thread

Adil,

I'm also a scarlet red fan but have been totally disappointed this season. Ferrari seems to have lost the plot - dropping their marbles! They are so far behind it is no joke. Maybe it is time to change your avatar?
