I need your help in getting Garmin Xt to work for my Samsung SGH-i900 ... I have installed the latest software from here:
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/store/downl ... 8&pID=9796
(The version for Garmin Mobile XT for Windows Mobile Ver. 4.20.50w as of Apr 29, 2008)

I downloaded the map and put it under the folder Garmin, when I run the Garmin Mobile XT ... it says no map???

How do you put the map? Where did you get the map from and where do I put it at? Am I using the correct Garmin Software?

Please help me...
Probably you have to buy/register your GMXT first...

What do you mean ... I have to purchase it? The software is free to download and use together with the Garmin 10 Bluetooth GPS receiver right?

I have bought the Garmin 10 Bluetooth GPS receiver and had used it on p990i before ... so I was thinking if I can use the Garmin Mobile XT on my new i900 coupled with the Garmin 10 receiver ...

Or do I need to buy that a special software seperately?

Please help.

Which map did you download?

Copy the downloaded gmapsupp.img from your PC and Paste it into your phone/card's #:\Garmin folder.

I downloaded the map from here :
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=23
(the GMAPSUPP for MXT Symbian version)

Yes, I copied the gmapsupp.img to the installed directory which is on my phone's memcard ...

I have used this software before on my p990i... and I know where to put the map... but I did what I did before on my p990i .. but when I run the Garmin mobile XT software, the map just dun show up ... on the bottom righthand side shows a "No map"

\:D/ \:D/ \:D/ I just got this new toy last week. Yeepee!
The PPC come with free Agis maps (Sg & My). Don't really like the NavPhone's user interface, buttons are too small, very difficult to press using finger. :hair:
Still prefer the user friendly GMXT, with big buttons.

Installed GMXT 4.20.50, but got some problems. During routing, the voice guidance not working eventhough I have enable this option. Also the Speedtraps custom POI not working, no alert at all. :(
Wonder any bros experience the same problems.

I am not sure whether this is due to the 4.20.50 bugs. :-?
