If you are using the one that you downloaded from Garmin website, you need to use Garmin own gps receiver. If you want to use the internal receiver of our phone, you need to buy the GMXT SD Card version.

So which version are you using?

It may not the most up-dated version, but you can up-date it by your own.

Just a word of caution. The genuine GMXT SD data card costs about US$100. So, if a shop is offering you same at less than RM100, you ought to be suspicious.

Hi, considering Omnia now, but wanting to find out more about GPS b4 commiting...

One Qns: Omnis comes with Agis GPS software, why is there a need to buy GMXT?

Other Qns: can the maps in malsingmaps, be used by Agis GPS software?

Last Qns: Can Omnia be used be cars with UV/films?
Thks.

For Q1 & 2, becouse Garmin map format offered by MSM can only be read by Garmin device or software
Last Qns: Can Omnia be used be cars with UV/films?
Most likely can except maybe for certain films from v-cool
Thks.
