One Qns: Omnis comes with Agis GPS software, why is there a need to buy GMXT?

Other Qns: can the maps in malsingmaps, be used by Agis GPS software?
For Q1 & 2, becouse Garmin map format offered by MSM can only be read by Garmin device or software
Last Qns: Can Omnia be used be cars with UV/films?
Most likely can except maybe for certain films from v-cool
Thks.
My car is fully covered with v-cool. No Problem.

anyone experience the Omnia GPS not able to fix correctly, it will be away from my location... significantly i would say. also the Que shows i only have 2D location fix no matter how long i waited. anyone could share the experience?

i have totally no problem with external BT GPS.

this phone is actually quite frustrating... cuz the mapking requires port splitter and to get a fix it takes ages to get a fix. i got the sd card version of GMXT still everything runs just fine and the hardware is detected as well... just that it has no signal appearing

I just upgrade my Omnia to i900DXHH1/DZHH1 rom. It's working fine with Garmin XT map without the port splitter or gps gate. My setting as below:

GPS Program Port: COM6
GPS Hardware Port: COM9
GPS Boud Rate : 9600

1)First you need to insert a sim card, configure the gprs or 3g setting for your own network.
2)Enable Enhanced GPS.
3)First time you run the Garmin XT, it will get data via gprs connection first.
4)It will acquire the satellites within one minutes.
5)Note! If you restart your ppc, sometimes it can't acquire the satellites. In that case follow the step2-step3
6)It will acquire the satellites as quick as few seconds on second time you run the Garmin XT.
7)REMEMBER to disable the auto off sceen under the settings-power if you wish to use it for long journey.
