Google on M10 and read about the pros and cons. Nothing is the perfect machine.

But I'm quite interested in M10; I dont like to carry so many stuffs overseas. Gotta be compact and on the go. More stuffs means extra cables for charging.

Am I able to configure the M10 to just like any other Nuvi Device? Adds POIs given in the website. Add other country maps.

Any users yet?

Yes, you can add additional POIs and almost unlimited new maps in M10 in accordance with you storage capacity limitation. You can name the additional maps using any names you like and no to restrict to "gmapsupp", "gmaprom1" or "gmapprom2" format. It also includes some good routing function such as Text-To-Speech (TTS) and junction view similar to some high-end nuvi gps device.

The phone quality and gps functions are quite stable and I am happy with this phone so far except that mapsource auto log off problem I mentioned previously.

Hi all i new here. I am currently using the M10. Quite a noob using this device :-? , although it did give me many and accurate infos when I went to Malaysia last week.

I just want to know how to add more maps to my M10. Currently I have the preloaded Singapore/Malaysia and Brunei maps. I like to know how to add more maps from our neighbouring countries like Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam...etc

Thanks for any help :)

To add more maps, just create a new sub-directory call "map" under My Storage directory i.e. My Storage/map and upload all the un-lock maps in this directory. You can use any names you like to name the respective maps.

Thanks. Seems good like any other pure Garmin device.

Can it add customized POI like traffic cameras given in this website?

Rant: m1 refuse to waive off $100 when I'm only like 1 month away from my 20th month.
