GMXT 4.10.40W & AXIM X50V

#31 Post by ycytyl » Tue Mar 04, 2008 2:33 pm

Hi

Does anyone managed to run the latest GMXT .40W on AXIM X50V successfully? Could you share what is your configuration ?
GMXT also hang on my X50V or abruptly exit during navigation and a hard reboot is needed.

Thanks

what OS you are using on axim x50v? GMXT cannot run with window mobile 2003, you need
to upgrade to WM5

So far no problem, I cover it with a baseball cap hence it's not obvious. Connected to a cigarette adaptor (with a push button on/off switch) to power the x50v and a split mini-USB connector to power the 10x.

Thanks for sharing Bros.

Maybe my X50V is going crazy. I'll do a hard reset and install GMXT only see if the problem will go away.

Hmmm....I've downloaded the latest version of GMXT from Garmin but it won't work in my X50V running on WM2003SE. The program just hangs after I loaded the files and clicked yes to install the program into the PDA. I was using Que before this with no problems. Garmin's site says GMXT needs minimum WM2003SE so this should work.

Do I need to update any driver for this?

Is this peculiar to Axim X50v and can we confirm this? I've read that others have installed GMXT on other brands of PDAs running 2003SE.

Anyone here managed to run GMXT on Axim X50 and 2003SE?
