Thanks to anyone who can assist.
The easy way out is to load the Malsin map into the SD card and use the Rename function to rename it to select which one to use. Just remember to Backup all your maps just in case you make a mistake. Alternatively, use Gmaptool to combine the maps. You can find the procedure HERE... cheers!

Did you manage to get GMXT to work with Cruise internal GPS?

I am having problem with mine, its able to detect the com port, but there is no satellite signal coming back.

The only legal way to use the built-in GPSr with GMXT is to buy the original Garmin GMXT SD card. If you use the GMXT downloaded from Garmin's website, you need to run it with an external GPSr, eg Garmin 10x.

I just installed GMXT (Windows) with Jerome's maps and got it running successfully. Will install Malsingmaps V2.37 next. My first reaction - the Windows version of GMXT works similarly to the Symbian version, altho the user interface is slightly different. Like the large 2.8" screen and the touch screen feature of the Cruise, altho I am still not used to running GMXT without a physical keypad.

BTW, I hard-reset the Cruise and everything on the original SD card got wiped off. Don't know how this could have happended. Good thing I had earlier back-up this SD card onto my PC.

So, how was the htc cruise perform?
any comment or somethings u can share with us?

Have been running the Cruise with GMXT+10x on Malsingmaps for about 2 months now. No problems at all. Once used to the touch screen, it actually became easier to use vs the N82. The large 2.8" screen is indeed a big plus (for me anyway). I have also recently acquired the GMXT data SD card, and have just started using the Cruise without the external 10x GPSr on Jerome's maps. My initial impression is that the internal GPSr is not as accurate as the 10x, but it is very quick to get a sat lock.

HTC has just launched the Diamond in Spore (price lower than Cruise). It runs WM6.1, and has a better camera than the Cruise. Also it has a VGA screen (vs QVGA on Cruise). Drawback is the Diamond don't have a SD slot; a big disadvantage in my view. So, I am staying with my Cruise which I am happy with.

Bro JChoong is the best guy to answer your question as he is a happy Cruise user for now.
