already got the unlock code, unlocked using PatchIMG. even included the DOWNLOAD GMAPSUPP.UNL inside the Garmin folder.. still cannot see the map.
this unlocking thingy is soo hard to master....
anyone that has success with all these..? really need help here. been trying for days now..
When you add the unlock code in PatchIMG:
1. Did you check the "Unlock Key" box?
2. Did you click "Add" everytime after you put the 25 char unlock code inside the box?
done that. here's the steps that I've taken:
1. Open Patch IMG (build 25) click 'get map'. so i got the latest map v214. only one line come out. is this the right one? he he. the file size is 20,373,504
2. click 'create gmapsupp.img
3. click 'unlock key'
4. copy and paste the 25 char unlock code inside the box, click add key once.
5. click 'patch and send'
6. copy the outcome of the map to my SD card

anything else that i'm missing?

You only have 1 unlock code which I assume is for MySin, but if you also patch together with Borneo and no unlock code is keyed in, the whole GMAPSUPP.IMG will still remain locked. Use this one instead to patch with your unlock code:

download/file.php?id=6241

Dear Dvpro,

thank you for your help so far. i really appreciate it. at least i can try something.
but unfortunately, the pda still cannot unlock the map. i got both unlock codes but mysin and borneo. but i do go to borneo that often, so i care not for the map.
i already tried to use the unlock code on the map that you gave, to no avail.
i also tried using 'both' unlock codes on the map. still no solution so far.

anything else? should i have restarted the pda when i already unlock it? the instruction sounded so simple. but yet, i still cannot make it to work. i have to use the June version map so far. but i really like to have the latest map..

Bro, pls check at About page in Que, is it still showing the same Unit ID that you used to request the unlock codes?

Garmin Que interface tab missing

#68 Post by harrier880 » Mon Dec 17, 2007 10:12 am

Have anyone faced this problem "The interface tab is missing (Garmin Que v2.90)"
I experiance this after doing backup and restore, somehow the the interface tab is no longer there!
When the tab is not there no way Garmin Que can connect to the built in Gpsr. No doubt is written in the help section's a note saying that "if you are not using a Garmin GPS receiver with BT, the interface tab does not appear".

Why this can happen? :fire:
