Have a Nuvi which is about 2 years old today.
Problem with the battery is that the Nuvi won't last more than 1 hour after fully charging it.
Suspect that the Re-chargeable battery (internal) needs to be replace.
So anyone any ideas where and the cost to get the replacement battery? Model Nuvi 205w.
Original or OEM battery is Okay with me.

Bro sunshine-kc, video link on how to self-replace the 205W battery here : http://www.businesstravellertips.com/20 ... w-battery/
Battery is a 1250mAh Li-Polymer series DC 3.7V battery - CS-IQN200SL-E. Hard to buy in this region, but can be replaced with Nokia cellphone battery. You just got to find the right size and equivalent voltage.
You can google to find exact one which is about USD20

Re: Replacing Nuvi Battery
Hi All,
Replacing Nuvi Batteries is easy. I have just replaced mine Nuvi 250w after ordering it online from newpower99.com.
Instructions on disassembly and reassembly is found on youtube.
Cost is US$29.00 for the battery and $14 for the Postage. I ordered one other battery for my Mitac Mio Digiwalker with the same postage.
Recieved in 10 days in good condition extended life.
Cheers.
