GPS: 255W
Hi,

I have a nuvi 255w. I plug it with a non garmin cable in the car.
It pop the message This accessory not supported. But after using
a garmin cable the message doesn't disappear. It always pop
when I open my garmin. My computer doesn't recognized my garmin
anymore. It only can charge. I cannot access my favorites and track log.

Help anyone

most garmin and accessories products are designed only for garmin. :$gone:

I cannot access the link. The nuvi 255w only has FM compatible. Does it apply? How can you disabled it?

It doesn't help. I'm using my garmin cable now but my computer doesn't recognize my nuvi 255W. I cannot access it to update it. Everytime I open my garmin it will always pop This accessory is not supported even if I didn't plug any cable in it. And nuvi 255w doesn't have traffic setting.
