It doesn't work this way. Garmin maps are a bit like your credit card, you cannot simply lend it to your fren to use
in Australia. Garmin Maps are locked to GPSID. Unless that someone is also willing to lend you his/her GPS as well.
Besides, you never tell us where you are, how to help? You either download Tracks4Aust or you go buy an original
map from the website. Have a look here as well:

Not all maps are routable.

Please don't discuss or ask for hacked / cracked software or maps in MSM

After going through this long (24 pages) thread, it seem that this is no free and detail routeable map for Melbourne and surrounding areas ](*,) . Unless going to the dark side [-( . Since will only be going there from 5 to 14 Dec 2009, thought I will try my luck here.

If there is any member willing to rent or exchange GPS with routeable Melbourne map during this period, please pm me. My US Garmin 255 come with City Navigator North America NT 2009 and of course MSM MYSG V3.04. Don't mind returning the favor if you are travelling to USA O:) .

Bro GCW, please state which side of the causeway you are from, and if you are from Northern side, please state your state and town to make it easier for someone near you to respond. :tq:
