Thailand map and intersection view?

#1 Post by highonthai » Fri Jul 26, 2013 3:49 am

Hello all,
Does anyone know if the Thailand map will show the intersection view in my nuvi 2555.
I'm in Los Angeles at the moment, so I cant test it myself.
Anyone know if it will work?
Thanks
Scott

It depends on your map and your nuvi model. Some localised maps will only show junction view on localised models.
You can try to see if you have JCV by doing a simulation route.
  1. Put your Nuvi into demo mode (by turning off the GPS receiving)
  2. Zoom out until you see Thailand
  3. Zoom in to a specific major road and set your location as that place
  4. Choose another location along that road with plenty of junctions inbetween
  5. Test the route navigation
Or see this http://www.malsingmaps.com/forums/viewt ... 25#p142725
I did this guide years ago and Nuvis have since changed somewhat but it will still give you the general idea.
