Garmin version has one advantage is that you can use the default search for POI whereas Malsingmaps has one extra step. Other than that :rokz:

Hi Bro Bernardlee

Don't want to sound bias, but these are the facts ... :-k Final choice is still yours 8-)

Garmin maps when new ... very good.... BUT as time goes, it needs updates and this may happen about 6 months to a year. Furthermore the upgrade is NOT FREE even if within the first year of purchase ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Malsingmaps are updated monthly through feedback of actual drivers / users ... and it is free if you help to keep it updated ... nothing ventured, nothing gain .... =D>

Bro,

Most of us here uses MSM Maps.... why pay $$$ when it is free? I sure like to know how good it is, but no point buying one to see how it works! I can live without the address search. Hope someone out there can share their experience on the Garmin maps....
