To create maps for MapKing 2007, an agreement has to be reached between Mapking and MalSingMaps since MapKing owns the compiler for the respective format. Whenever MapKing allows MalSingMaps to release maps in any of the MapKing formats, it may mean a lost opportunity for MapKing to sell its own maps of the area. Such sales generates income for MapKing. They can't rely on the licensing fee for the application alone. Therefore I hope you can see why MapKing is not actively pursuing this matter.

That is why even when MalSingMaps released the MapKing version of its maps, the nature of the agreement ties the licensing to MapKing own M'sia Sg maps.
