YDD, hi and :welcome: to Malsingmaps.com.

Mapking can only be used for street navigation, it's pretty much useless for off-road/sea navigation.

If yours is a Pocket PC, you can start with the "free" Garmin Que that reads Malsingmaps as well. Pls visit the WIKI for more info.

Not useless la.. change to compass mode and / or just use GPS status page to check GPS coordinates and off road routing to go to the GPS coordinates in your boat for fishing .

GPS compass is not reliable especially when you're not moving. IMHO, to be really considered as useful it should at least be able to do offroad routing calculation, but I don't think that's possible in Mapking, as it only has: Recommended, Motorway Prefered, Motorway Avoided and Shortest Route as route calculation options. :-k

Ya.. i checked my mapking.. no off road calculation..

in my Handymap ai gold, there's cycling and walking routing modes.

anyway, can Mapking route to middle of the sea coordinates, if it is out of the available map?
