Need guidance on Malsing-Maps for Mapking R12

#1 Post by v-v » Tue Oct 23, 2007 4:53 pm

Hi all, I need some advise on how to open the following files:

Malsing_WM_G12_Oct2007 and the accompanying Malsing_WM_G12_Oct2007.z01.

I encountered: "The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted" for Oct2007 and "No files to extract" errors for Oct2007.z01

I had no problem opening the Malsing_SG_G12_Oct. Great!

Is there anything that I should observe or use on the West Malaysia Maps?

Thanks in advance.

dear multi888,
if ur problem is renaming the file
Malsing_WM_G10_Oct2007.z01.zip to Malsing_WM_G10_Oct2007.z01
then under xp windows file explorer
>tools>folder options>view>untick "hide extension for known file types"
go to the folder containing the file
and it is more obvious to remove the .zip extension at end of file name. ie use rename facility.
other problem may be downloading problems. otherwise may be u have not rename the extension to .m7a for mking2007 use. hope itis of use
