How to contribute the maps to Mapsing? Is there any editor or programs to do so? I'm using GPS BAY 3303, just arrive but some part of the Bintulu area still not updated. Is there anybody here know how to edit the maps so it can be updated? Thanks.

For GPS Bay, you can still submit POIs. Set in the POI in your unit, go look for the co-ords of the POI,
Manually transfer to Mapsource. Error reports are always welcome.

We do this as a hobby and fun. The thrill and satisfaction of seeing our effort being compiled into a map and being used by others for free is priceless.
This world is all about pay pay pay. Why can't we do something for free for the community? It's somewhat a kind of community service. That's all we ask for.

Cheers,

Hi,
I downloaded the latest EM Map (Jul 09). However it doesn't seem to function properly. It hanged during loading when the map is selected. I've re-download several times, unzipped, copied to PDA, but the same thing happens. Any idea what I did wrong. So I have to revert to the previous one. For WM map, July update it's functioning perfect.

I finally managed to open the file. But all roads in Labuan are under seawater ??? For sabah, the respond is slow (e.g.search and zooming is so slow, compared to March09 version.)
Cheers.

Pls be more specific, you can't download the map from our forum or you can't use the map in your unit?
Does the download stop halfway? Is your broadband working properly?
