Thanks. Nice icons indeed. I will KIV this until I can also find icons for chinese temples and hindu kuils. Otherwise the 4 place of worship icons will be inconsistent. Appreciate your help in locating the above icons for me if possible :)

Btw, I had updated ezGMap to v1.1 to fix some bugs. Please download from http://antyong.com/?page_id=144

Thanks again :D

The problem for me is space constrain. Anything bigger than 24x24 will be no good. 16x16 or smaller is best. Will try to resize if possible.

Btw, v1.07 with Public Bank and Hong Leong Bank icons has been released :)

Removing Overlapped Icons for Nicer Display

This map works by covering the original icons of Malsingmaps with new, customized icons. However, not all portions of the original icons can be covered. You can remove the original icons by following the steps below:

1. Download my GM.typ & MAPSRC.typ
2. Install GM-MysinG again
3. When the “continue to create gmapsupp.img?” prompt appears, copy GM.typ and MAPSRC.typ to your GM-Mysin folder (default is C:\Garmin\Gpsmappers\Mysin)
4. Continue on as usual

If you mess up, just re-install GM-MysinG and create gmapsupp.img without copying my files.
Great job bro antyong. I've tried to use your method to overlapped the old icon. The old icons partly still there. Any other suggestion to remove the old icons completely?

Please let me know which icons are not removed. Perhaps I have not updated the TYP files completely yet.

I could see old icons partially at the back almost everywhere in my oregon automotive view when zoomed in to 50-100m when it gets nearer, especially with BHP POI icon's.

Aiyah..no big deal lah. Im just happy with this customize icon version.

OK. I will concentrate on new icons first :)

WM/SG POI Icon v1.11 now displays custom icon for M'sia & S'pre govt offices. Credit to mahfong2007 for the M'sia coat of arms icon.

I had been advised not to use the M'sian coat of arms. I had replaced it with the M'sian flag.
