GPS: garmin
Hi,
I just bought a garmin nuvi 40 from the US. I downloaded the latest map v562 and place the .img in the garmin folder.
It didn't work. It's able to locate satellite but only able to see the roads without any name or direction.

Does the map support nuvi 40?

Go buy a SD card, create a sub-folder garmin and put the map file gmapsupp.img there

Mine is nuvi 1390 bought in New Zealand. I want to download Malaysia map.

Load the mapfile gmapsupp.img into your Nuvi SD card/garmin.

Hi I have the garmin nuvi 2465. am trying to obtain the latest map for mal. any idea where i can get it? Also, how can i save it in a SD card? I read it is better to store it there.

Garmin maps cannot be used on Tom Tom devices!!
