What POIs Are Considered Important.

Here is a topic we discussed during the recent mini GG in Pg. My list of what POIs are important are :-

1) Medical/Health Services
– Hospitals, Clinics, Pharmacies & Physiotherapy Center.
– Home For the Disabled,Traditional Healthcare Center & Old Folks Home.

2) Security & Emergency Services
– Police Stations & Rela
– Fire Station (Bomba), Ambulance, Rescue Center (991)
– Disaster Relief Center (Flood, Fire…)

3) Education Service
– Schools, Vocational Training Center, Colleges & Universities
– Tuition Center (….???)

4) Governmental Offices

5) Financial Services

6) Communications And Transport Services
– Post Office, Courier Service & Shipping Agent
– Bus, Train, Ship, Ferry and Airport services
– Public Phone, WiFi, Internet Cafes

7) Please add to the list….. Thank You.

10. Name of kampungs by setting the POIs at the nucleus of activities e.g. mosques/temples/schools/weekly markets

Sometimes a cobbler (shoe repair/making keys) POI also good. Never know when you
need one esp. in another town, when travelling.
