It's my colleague's Nuvi 255W & the map "SGMYMAL.JCV" is inside the unit memory under the folder "JCV" now. For the SD card, sometimes I leave it inside & sometimes didn't cos it makes no different to me.
The file u loaded is a Junction View file, not a map file. Files in folder JCV are for Junction view function only :-'

Go to our download section and download our latest map 5.29NT. Unzip map file gmapsupp.img and place this to SD card/garmin directory.
It Works ! Thank you very much.

Hi, just purchased my first Garmin, Garmin 2565. It comes with Singapore and Malaysia maps but I can't seems activated the POIs warning for speed camera. Remember seeing my friend's Garmin being able to give warning for speed cameras. No memory card for my model.

May I know which Malsing map I need and how do i combine it on my Garmin to enable it to warn me when speed camera is near(Singapore)?

Thank in advance!

MSM NT V5.29 is not locked so you do not need to know the MapID and use a keygen to unlock the map.

Brother, there is no need for all that. In this Forum, we are discouraged from discussing 'unlock generator' or whatever name you like to call it.

Our maps are either unlocked like the MSM NT v5.29 where all you need to do is unzip and copy to a \Garmin folder in your SD card, or if they are locked as in the 2011.30 maps, then you ask for the unlock code and you are not encouraged to try to unlock the maps yourself. Please don't carry this discussion any further otherwise your posts may get deleted.

Are the feedback given by members to update maps incorporated in newly released maps cos I noticed some of the feedback given like incorrect exit along cte for balestier road 7B not 7D and closure of bencoolen st not yet reflected in 5.32 map although theses have been alerted a few months ago. Btw where can I know the details of changes made for a map update?

Thanks
