I'm using mapking 7 with my notebook Dell inspiron 6400, it fast...........
pair with latest malsing map.............hope to update to Mapking 2007 :thumbsup:

Brother... are you connect your GPSr with cable ? or Bluetooth? I've been trying to connect with cable using Gpslim240 to my Laptop thousand times, never get connected! Please help me....

good for ya tlchuan... u using ur notebook in ur car? hehe...

i tried to connect via bluetooth to my pc only... wanted to try out... works fine... u will hav to pair with ur pc/notebook 1st then select the specific port in mapking pc...

For the GPSr to work as a GPS Mouse, a special data cable is needed not the usual USB cable for charging.

Dear Brother jeremaze,

I am using Bluetooth dongle V2.0 + EDR from Cliptec Plus, pair with Holux M1000 GPS,

all you need is set your bluetooth serial port service to your Bt GPS See the Picture below.

I look for the Data Cable last time, But i can't see it everywhere in the market. you know where can get it? How special the data cable? I tried with the PDA cable also can not la.... :cry: :cry: :cry: :-? :-? :-? :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:

I'm also try with this bluetooth 2.0 :thumbsdown: and also using same software with you. But how to set? I try 1st... But i used my old bluetooth 1.1v no need to set anything. :thumbsup:

i also tried using my cam's usb cable to connect my 236B but not successful. in the end hv to be satisfied with BT connection
ask not (just) what malsingmaps can do for you
ask what you can do for malsingmaps (also)

i don't get it why you all need a data cable to connect your GPS, if you got bluetooth GPS just use it, and the range also

very far compare to data cable, the only setting in bluetooth software is to set using serial ports. remember don't update

your bluetooth program. use the one supply with your bt dongle. for your info you can buy the data cable from

Anyone try using Mapking 2007 on Windows Vista? I know there is a bug that I have to input the reg. code everytime i lauch the program. I just wanted to know can it navigate using bluetooth GPSr just like under Windows XP platform? :-k :-k
