unbelievable :shock: i dont have any guts to do that. not even to open the casing.. i'm not good in wiring .. my result for Kemahiran Hidup subject when i was Form 3 is 'D' or something .. :oops:

@gpseu, my 4GB unit came with a mini PCIe express card slot, so space is limited under the hood. I managed to put a BT dongle and 4GB flash in it. Just go to forum.eeeuser.com under "hardware hack and mod", plenty of info to guide you. Prerequisites - good soldering skill, use tiny (wire wrap) wires, and steady hands.

I tried to solder a USB hub later and scre*** up one of the USB port resistor! That port is now disabled for good.

Opening the casing is quite simple, except the plastic bar above the SD card reader is very fragile. The user forum has plenty of pictures for guidance.

As good as they are, quite slow... Only good for some light browsing. Not for multimedia, IMHO

Just bought a EEE PC 4G Surf white in colour(version w/o webcam) at RM1199 at Kota Bharu
Share some picture of it. Now looking for one Ciggarate lighter power, dunno ASUS make it for it or not.........
