In the first place this is the Community Heading for "Discussions on our website, gatherings and other community issues" so your post is in the wrong place. Try Maps and POIs Discussions (can Mod move this post?).

Secondly, the link to our Wiki is still open. If you take the trouble to Search you will find your answer HERE #-o

ivanhng, experienced once b4. it happened when i uninstalled one of the installed maps in the mapsource. the problem was, the uninstall program unable to remove the line referring to the removed map in the registry. what i did was by running a program downloaded from the utility section, mapset maptool or somthing like that. i hv xplained what i did in the forum actually...

Topic moved from "General > Community" forum to this "GPS Discussions > PC/Notebook" that includes GPS software running on PC such as MapSource.

Solution to ivanhng's problem already given in rickvon's post viewtopic.php?p=2132#p2132 .

i'm also having the same problem when installing both latest releases of mysin and borneo together, however, everything's fine if i just install any one of the product. can you confirm whether your issue is similar to mine?

yeah, already did that, but still my predicament: 1 product = ok, 2 products = error.

when i click more info for both mapsets:

Code: Select all

Product ID: 331612220 - GM-Malaysia/Singapore v2.04
Mapset ID: 5060 (13C4h)

Map has autorouting features.

The following errors were found:
This mapset has the same ID as the following map:
     - GM-North Borneo v2.04
Please uninstall one of the mapsets to correct this issue.

been using this utility all this while without any problems, though.

UPDATE:
All this while, after the first time i had the problem when installing both mapsets, Garmin Mapset Tool will report an error, but believing that the error persists (as reported by Garmin Mapset Tool) I never tried running Mapsource anyway. So just now I tried to run Mapsource, #-o no problems at all. So I guess this Garmin Mapset Tool is not so accurate after all in reporting mapset error. Anyone having similar problems, simple uninstalling and reinstalling mapsets will cure most Mapsource errors.

Do not change the folder name, must in "Garmin" and not others.
