Talking about Hari Raya Open House, I think the BIGGEST I ever been to should be Istana Nurul Iman of Brunei. That was way back in 1998.

Got free food, handshake with the Royal family and a photo of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah to keep as souvenir.

I am not sure if I could make home made cheese. Maybe what he meant is home made YOGURT. To make yogurt is very simple. What you need is some milk preferably fresh milk, starter yogurt that is still active or you can buy the freeze-dried yogurt culture and a pot that can maintain a uniform temperature around 40C for 8 to 10 hours.

1. Heat the milk to 85C and cool down to 45C. Add 2 tbsp of starter yogurt or the freeze-dried yogurt culture.

2. Stir a bit and let it stand in a warm place for 8 to 10 hours. Allow the yogurt bacteria to incubate. Keep the yogurt warm and still to encourage bacteria growth, while keeping the temperature as close to 40C as possible.

3. When the yogurt is set, place it in a refrigerator.

NOTE :
For those who cannot consume plain yogurt, can add whatever flavor to your milk.
