GG in Philippines

#1 Post by SilverBeauty » Mon Mar 14, 2011 3:22 pm

Visited the Philippines and met up with members of RoadGuide Philippines community. They operate similar to what MSM does, and produces an excellent community map of the Philippines

Here is some pics of the EB ( Philippino term for GG ) held at Bacino's Wine Bar, Greenbelt 2 Mall, Makari, Philippines

Paella Vallenciana 2.jpg
The signature dish Paella Vallenciana is quite a large serving and can easily fill up two people. The rice was flavorful and cooked with a charred bottom. Came with a seafood topping. It's the best paellas I've had in Manila.

Nice ... but ... Spanish food in the land of the Pinoy-Pinay? Should be having Crispy Pata,
balut, bagoong alamang, Inahaw Na Bangus. So, how are the RGPs? Do they face similar
obstacles as us here?

Basic map can be obtain via this the thread "Download Standard Philippines GPS Map"
This is an old map but sufficient to get you around Philippines.
Latest map unlock code will be provided if you contribute POI/Waypoints/Tracks etc..
