I have never bought or used any City Navigators but I presume once you have the unlock code and
can view in Mapsource, it should have no problem loading into your Nuvi. Just like MSM, you use the
existing codes and do not need additional unlock code just to load it into your GPSr. Is that what you
mean?

The key to the answer to your question is in the key you used to unlock the map. To what device does that key unlock as such keys are always associated to a device and Mapsource can hold keys to many devices. If that key you used is not for the Nuvi200 then you would not be able to view the map in the Nuvi200.

Think of Mapsource as public place, a community centre and your Nuvi200 as one of the locker in the community centre. Anyone can enter the Community Centre, but if your key is not for your locker, going to the community centre is not a problem for you but to open your locker, you will need your own key and not just any key. So unless you bring along your key for your locker, you will not have excess to your locker.

Straight to the point! :good: on explanation to exz8 there!

You can try that also transfer to your n200 unit, see that it appear map or not, if it doesn't appear map than your answer is answered by your unit there!

Continuing from the above post...
And if the map is successfully transfered to device and yet do not unlock in device, it means the codes you used in Mapsource does not correspond to the device's Unit ID. :-'

This thread sounds like discussing how to hack CN... :-k

If you bought the CN & got problem transfering it to your device, you can always refer to Garmin.com.
