Hi Bro denwa89, for an entry level GPS, do consider the Nuvi 200.

Maybe you can read up a comparison between nuvi 200 and nuvi 205; here
You dun have to buy the "W" series, as its a widescreen version. The 3.5' inch will be fine, if you dun have difficulty viewing.
Everyone contribute a bit, eventually we can enjoy and benefit more in our navigation.

Thanks Bro Edgar for reminding me ... Nuvi 200 is phased out of Garmin range of current products offered ... so there should be some bargains ....

Bro edgarchen, ppl buy widescreen does not mean having diffuculty viewing lah. Just like TV, why buy 60 inches instead of 12 inches, afterall, also can see what's going on.
Bro, size matter.

I would suggest Nuvi 205 is a good start for the 1st time GPS buyer. It is easy to use and with width screen.

It is the newer and better version compared with Nuvi 200.

Aiyoohhh... cham lah for you... at least you can sit back and enjoy... you should try this option then, one for yr wife and another for yrself with some entertainment so she gets to appreciate her own "navigational" tool even with you on starboard side....

Image

Good thing came out of this too, she knows what a GPS would mean when getting around to chiak hong and burning unnecessarily... unlike having this lady onboard, Image who is an unbearable GPS herself!!!
