Combining MSM and MFM

#1 Post by udaloy » Fri Nov 21, 2008 2:13 pm

Hope this is not a taboo subject :-'

The MFM latest maps has HDB blocks, and it will be nice to have that incorporated in the MSM v2.30, but MSM map still have better road coverage.

Will I achieve that by combining both maps ?

:-k

There is one thread over at MFM forum has discussion about combining of MFM with MSM map, maybe you can head on to the MFM forum and check it out.

Cheers!

I read somewhere that MFM have changed their map boundaries. Not sure how it'll fit
if you combine with MSM. Just do 2 gmapsupp la. Check and uncheck maps as and
when you need them. Should not be too difficult.

One in your nuvi, one in your SD card. For your case (Nuvi 200) gmapsup2 in main memory and gmapsupp in SD.

Only Map that are in Device over-rite the map in SD card.
