If your MapSource has been correctly installed, it should run

If it should run, what should I see?

No, it cannot run. It says this:

"Previous MapSource not found!"

"Set up will terminate"

Please read the Wiki instructions again carefully.

You are not supposed to run setup.exe as that would be the inevitable result but to extract Main.msi then right-click on it to install it.

Dear Bro Mohammad,

The Wiki i think is very straight..as bro jasonlee explained do not run the setup but extract the main.msi file..then do not run mapsource yet coz it still did not hv the map..
what' next after installation completed is to install the MSM NT 5.30 mapsource file which you hv download earlier..run the exe file..

hope this will clear your outstanding issue..

I don't think I can do this. This is too complicated to me. How about I send an empty SD card to someone here, please load the map into the card and I will pay for the service and send the card back to me. If anyone interested, pls sms to my number 012-9154001.

Thanks!

Best Regards

Please read your PM.

There is no way for us to load map into an SD card that your MapSource can read. There is no other way except to instal MapSource properly in your PC then instal the map into MapSource.

I am sure my PM instructions are simple enough for even IT illiterate people to follow.

Your alternative is to instal BaseCamp instead of MapSource which does not require a previous version to be installed in your PC.

The solution in my PM is simpler and you only have a 7MB file to download as you have already downloaded the MapSource installer. The Basecamp installer download is much bigger at 100MB. Well if you prefer, here is the link: http://www8.garmin.com/support/download ... sp?id=4435
