Bro Bluemoon_Wong,

Like what Bro MND_43 says,
...all Garmin are good
That is because this is a Garmin platform Forum. Of course we are bias.
Do you think the Coke franchise holder will say Pepsi is better? Having
said that, my opinion is that, a phone should remain a phone and it is
better to get a stand alone GPS for navigation. I think Bro Mnd_43 is
saying the same thing.

The main reason is: Battery Life. Nokia is never well known for long
battery life. If you want to run GMXT and probably BT GPSr at the
same time, you'll find your phone running out of juice very quickly.
Don't end up in an emergency where you can't call or navigate yourself
out of the mess at the same time.

But if you insist on Nokia and Garmin then you have only 1 choice and
2 ways to install:

1) Buy ORIGINAL Garmin MXT in SD card format and use the Nokia
built-in antenna 9if N78 have)

or

2) Get a Garmin 10X BT GPS receiver and download any copy of GMXT to use
in your phone.

Anything else would be illegal and pls don't discuss it here in MSM.

Bro Bluemoon_Wong,

Concur with the comments by Bro Bartmp8 and mnd_43

I have a Nuvi and Omnia with GPS.
The feeling is different. The Nuvi is a dedicated GPS so it is more user friendly. Bigger screen and more functions. I need to update just one map. I have kind of "given up" on using the Omnia as a GPS.

Hope it helps.
